Challenge

Design a piece of furniture that tells a story.

Hope for Equality

A coffee table that embodies balance, contrast, and shared presence told through material, geometry, and symbolism.

Concept

This table is a visual metaphor.
Two halves different in color and texture are held together by a central core. Equity is not sameness, but coexistence built on respect and interdependence.

Process

The project began with conceptual sketching and material exploration, searching for a tactile way to express duality.

I worked iteratively with 3D modeling, mock-ups, and contrast studies testing how light, color, and balance could visually support the idea.

One object. Two sides. One message.
